Would you like your students to work on their vocabulary and writing?
Are they practicing Christmas-themed words right now?
Check out the “Le mot du jour Christmas edition” I’m sharing today.
Le mot du jour Christmas freebie
Today, I’m sharing a set of Christmas-themed worksheets that you can use as “le mot du jour”.
Each page focuses on one word. On every page, students will:
- read the word
- color the word
- trace the word three times
- write the word three times
- trace the word in a sentence
- copy the sentence
- illustrate the sentence
By having students complete the same tasks, but focusing on different words every day, you will save time because you won’t have to explain the activity all over again after a couple of worksheets.
Your kiddos will enjoy the practice because it’s simple enough for them to do independently, but challenging enough for them to feel engaged.
The ten words included in this free Christmas sample are: Noël, sapin, cadeau, lutin, renne, traîneau, ange, église, cloche, étoile.
